Heart Meditations

Heart Meditations Ministries is the out growth of the life, love and ministerial journey of Jonathan and Jodi Burnett and their two girls Eliayna Jade and Hadassah Grace.  This family team aims to support individuals and families on their journey towards God’s throne while sharing their struggles and successes along the way.

Jonathan Burnett, is the Pastor of North Shore Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chicago.  He has a passion for speaking with and to young people and finding ways to express and explain the gospel in a way that makes sense to all.

Jonathan also has a passion for authentic community within the church.  He has 8 years of experience in small groups ministry which he often has an opportunity to share through training and consulting with churches and ministries about how to develop a successful small group ministry.

Jonathan studied at Andrews University and received a Master in Divinity with an emphasis in Old Testament Languages.  He finds the biblical narrative both inspiring and transformative when applied to the challenges of modern life and existence.  He is dedicated to bring the Bible to life and enabling people to meet Jesus within its pages.
